Hi all,
Happy New Year.
Kicked off the start of 2009 with my first ever World Cup Event. A Ski Cross is St Johann, Austria. It was really cool to compete at the highest level in my sport for the first time and as you can imagine it wasn't easy. Even still i tried my best but ended up 1.5 seconds off qualifiying for the Finals. But my coach (Raul Gusaido) said i skied well and all the experience i get now is only going to help towards the next race. Which will be the Airwaves Games in Tinges, France. Only a few days till then so wish me luck for my next big race, peace.
Hi yardies, the other day the Jamaica ski team hit the slopes at Alpine Meadows for the first time this season. There wern't many runs open but the conditions were good for the little snow we had. But before Apline had even opened. My team mate Errol Kerr had his own snow machine going and his 2 skicross starts he had built himself in his front yard so we could practice skicross starts. Now were starting to get some real snow we can add to the course and hopefully build some rolls and maybe even jumps!
