Golf best bets: Outright picks for LIV Golf Singapore

We were so close to cashing our third outright bet of the LIV Golf season, as Louis Oosthuizen finished one stroke back of winner Brendan Steele in Adelaide this past weekend. The rival tour gets right back to the action this week with LIV Golf Singapore from Sentosa Golf Club, a pristine course that measures 7,406 yards as a par 71. Its intimidating length and demanding tee shots will serve as a perfect ball-striking test for some of the best players in the world.

We normally target three players for our LIV outright card, but we're going in a different direction this week.

Jon Rahm (+700 DraftKings)

Jon Rahm hasn't been able to notch his first LIV Golf win yet, but his breakthrough victory is coming soon. The Spaniard has finished T3, solo eighth, solo fifth, T8, T4 and T3 in his six starts this season. He's also coming off a final-round 64 in Adelaide, which marked the second-best round any player in the field had all week.

Many of the courses on LIV's schedule this year have been smaller tracks that bring the shorter hitters into play. Rahm is able to separate from the pack on longer, tougher golf courses that reward elite ball striking, and that's what we'll have this week at Sentosa. 

No one on LIV has the complete ball-striking package that Rahm does. The 29-year-old is long and accurate off the tee, and he's the best iron player on the Saudi-backed tour. His putter can let him down at times, but Rahm should be able to have a decent putting week on these perfectly manicured Bermuda surfaces. 

Since he's so low-priced at 7-1, we don't have any room for other golfers on our outright card. No matter. Rahm picks up his first LIV Golf title in Singapore.
