The Arizona Cardinals stocked up at the 2024 NFL Draft with 12 picks and as a result, the team made some roster cuts to make room for the new players.

On X (formerly Twitter), the Cardinals released both wide receiver Kaden Davis and cornerback Quavian White.

White and Davis have yet to make their NFL debuts as they were both on the Cardinals’ practice squad last season.

Originally signed as an undrafted free agent in 2022, Davis was on the Denver Broncos practice squad. The Broncos ended up cutting him on Jan. 11, 2023.

The 25-year-old would then join the Michigan Panthers in the USFL last year and amassed 83 receiving yards, 333 return yards, two touchdowns and 416 total yards in five games.

On July 25, 2023, the Cardinals signed the Northwest Missouri State product and was promoted to the active roster last season, but never played a snap.

As for White, he was undrafted as he came out of Georgia State. Last year, Arizona signed him as a free agent.

After being cut and signed to the practice squad last season, White signed a reserve/future contract on January 8 this year before he was released today.

A few days ago, Arizona also parted ways with long snapper Matt Hembrough who spent all of last season on Injured Reserve with a back injury.

Now White, Hembrough and Davis will all look for other opportunities elsewhere in the NFL.
